Kentucky Winery Wedding, Love The Renauds Photography – Jordan & Kevin’s Wedding
Sweet Jordan & Kevin are married!! This was a wedding day we had been looking forward to for months. We’ve known Kevin and his family for awhile now and we couldn’t wait to celebrate this day with such wonderful people. Arriving to a crowd we know on a wedding day is like icing on the cake for us – these weddings always feel more like a family reunion than anything else! We had a blast capturing new memories with familiar faces. 🙂 We arrived to a cheerful bride chatting away with her girls while getting ready. We LOVE seeing a room filled with people and laughter on a wedding day. How it should be! Jordan shared some sweet moments with her mom and girls that morning…we’ll let the photos speak for themselves! Jordan & Kevin wanted to spend their wedding day together with the people they love, so they decided to do a First Look. We love the relaxed feel of a First Look Schedule. Wedding days are a whirlwind no matter what! More often than not, couples are choosing a First Look Schedule so they can spend more of their best day together. We knew Kevin would be smitten when he first saw his bride – his reaction was the sweetest. These two needed no help from us for photos! Not only are they crazy about each other but they are such great friends and enjoy every moment together. This kind of love is worth capturing and is something we consider truly special, every time. Jordan & Kevin couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Talon Winery. First of all – why not get married at a winery, right?! Secondly, this winery specifically has so many fantastic photo opportunities. From the countless outdoor ceremony options, to the bridal suite, to the vineyards (obviously), to the open fields, to the silos, to the pond, to the always well decorated barn (also a great rain plan)…this venue has it all! Not to mention, the drive is beautiful (under 30 minutes from Lexington) yet still feels like a getaway. Jordan & Kevin have great taste, so we were not at all surprised when they chose this venue. Their ceremony was held right outside the vineyard under the arbor. We love, love, love this set up as guests and bridal party walk through the vineyard to get to the ceremony. We will never forget Jordan & Kevin’s ceremony – short and sweet, focused on their vows. Before we knew it, they were Mr & Mrs! We love this shot of the couple with their arms around each other exiting the vineyard. 🙂 Jordan & Kevin’s reception was the fun party we knew it would be and everyone danced late into the night. This was the kind of reception where people lingered and enjoyed their time together – dancing, exploring the vineyards, chatting at tables – no one wanted the night to end! In many ways, this day was the perfect example of how a wedding day should be…great people, a relaxed schedule, a lovable couple, TONS of sweet moments, an excited bridal party, lots of laughter, a supportive family, a gorgeous venue, and a killer team of wedding vendors.
