Columbus Wedding Photography – Scott & Megan’s Wedding
How we love Scott & Megan! It’s the best when you can photograph a dear friend’s wedding. 🙂 From the moment we heard Scott was planning to propose to Megan we COULD NOT WAIT for their big day! Of course, we knew Scott & Megan would throw a creative and classy event. This was our first Columbus, OH wedding! What an incredible weekend… Scott & Megan chose The Columbus Athenaeum for their wedding and reception venue. We had a blast shooting in this historic theater! Megan’s wedding dress matched the scene perfectly, with the mix of silver and gold beading covering her dress. Megan is the first of our brides to have a dress like this! Just stunning. (Scott, you looked okay.) As friends, we loved witnessing every moment of Scott & Megan’s day…especially their First Look! They were so sweet and joyful. I loved the location they chose for this moment overlooking the city! Scott & Megan spent the rest of the day together and had a great time with their bridal party. It felt like we photographed the whole city! Scott & Megan had several locations picked out for photos…we didn’t complain. 😉 The ceremony was sweet and one to remember. What an incredible message from the Pastor! Again, a message of truth and love that reminded us of our own wedding years ago. It was incredible to witness our friends making a promise and entering into a covenant together. 🙂  Loved, loved, loved this wedding! The reception was just as we thought it would be…elegant, peaceful, and we could NOT get over the live band! In Full Swing Big Band was the perfect entertainment for the evening! We personally had a great time being around our group of friends. “Some chick” photobombed a really great photo of Matt & I (Jerica!) ha! The dog head on a stick – I think a photo booth prop – was a picture of Scott’s dog Sarge… An attempt to have Sarge “present” with us at the wedding? Probably. (I feel like a few of these photos need explaining, ha!). Fun times… Everyone there had a blast at dancing, chatting, and making new memories together. The night ended with a sparkler send off  and we said goodbye to our irreplaceable friends. Here’s to a lifetime of love and friendship for Scott & Megan! We love you guys!
