Wedding Photography The Renauds: Taylor & Jared’s Wedding
I don’t know that I’ve ever met a couple more made for each other than Taylor and Jared. Our first wedding photography consult with them was at Chevy Chase Starbucks (everyone’s favorite Lexington Starbucks) and we chatted for hours about how they met, how Jared proposed, how their wedding plans were going, and how they had many hopes and dreams for their future. We could tell instantly they were best friends and “in this for the long haul”. They were so grateful to have found each other and excited to commit their whole hearts and lives to one another. I left our consult that night feeling giddy-in-love! So Matt took me out on a date. 🙂 I say it every day…I have the BEST job ever. And hubby.
Taylor and Jared’s summer wedding was nothing short of incredible. Their wedding and reception was at the Cardome Center, the ceremony outside, the reception inside. The couple decided to set up the ceremony directly behind the fountain which we hadn’t seen before. This placement was unique, intimate, and we loved how they took the initiative to make this venue space “their own”. We found the Bride calm and happily getting ready when we arrived. The Groom the same. The day went perfectly as planned. I had the honor of doing some finishing touches on the Bride’s makeup – so fun! Don’t be surprised folks, photographers do it ALL on a wedding day! Taylor’s bridesmaids were super supportive, loving, helpful, FUN and said a sweet prayer over Taylor right before she walked out to see Jared for their First Look. Ohhh their First Look… I’m a sucker for a good First Look, but theirs was just precious! They were completely themselves, giddy, emotional and carefree. Usually when the couple starts laughing and laughing…and laughing…we know we have permission to step back onto the scene to start Bride & Groom photos! These are definitely some of the best photos we capture on a wedding day because the couple has just seen each other. We love, love, love these photos of Taylor and Jared! Their eyes tell you how happy, thankful and content they are. They had so much fun with their bridal party too. More laughter. The time came for the ceremony and it was just beautiful. Of course, the Bride and Groom were very sweet. I don’t know how anyone left this ceremony not “in love with love”. Taylor and Jared’s love is convincing, honest and refreshing. Not long after, the couple danced together for the first time as husband and wife. I know everyone wants to be around the Bride and Groom on a wedding day, but I think the joy Taylor and Jared shared was contagious and drew people close. The couple danced with their family and friends for hours, and soon it was time to say goodbye with (our favorite) a sparkler send off! We couldn’t have witnessed a more beautiful day. The richest blessings for our friends and amazing clients, Taylor and Jared!
Thanks to all the amazing vendors who made Taylor & Jared’s wedding day beautiful…
