Sweet Katharine & Tyler are married!! These adorable people stole our hearts from the moment we met them and their wedding day was just as joyful as we imagined it would be. Katharine & Tyler are the kind of people that brighten a room with kindness and gratitude everywhere they go. We knew their wedding day would be filled with beauty because of their love for each other and for others. Couldn’t be more true of this day and couple! On this wedding day, we arrived to a cheerful bride ready to twirl the day away in her gorgeous dress. 🙂 This porcelain doll – excuse me – bride, was beaming all day long with the biggest smile…we couldn’t stop snapping photos of her! When a bride is able to fully release all planning thoughts and details on her wedding day to focus on the adventure of getting married, JOY runs the show. Katharine nailed this! In fact, I read a facebook post early that morning (still in my pj’s drinking coffee haha) that pretty much sums it up. This bride found a quiet moment on the morning of her wedding day to let the world know how grateful she was to get married. No matter who you are, it’s a journey to find ‘your person’. The hoping and waiting it takes to meet your best friend requires faith. Katharine knew the miracle and gift this would be, and expressed such appreciation for her journey – it led to finding Tyler. Some tears may have fallen into my coffee cup that morning! Such true and sweet words from a wise bride. For every wedding, there are moments we’ll never forget… We knew Tyler would be SMITTEN seeing his bride for the first time walking down the aisle and his reaction was oh-so-sweet. Tyler is the kind of groom who will always look at his bride this way. 🙂 It was all over his face at their photo consult, engagement shoot, wedding day, and (I’m certain) for all of their days together too. This is one of the countless reasons why we love what we do…their kids and grand kids will look at these photos years down the road and say, “They still look at each other this way”. Can’t think of anything more worth it! I’ve got to take a moment and give a shoutout to the couple’s bridal party and family. It never fails every time – if the couple is wonderful, their family and friends will be too. (Yes, another reason why we love what we do – meeting so many incredible people!) Katharine & Tyler’s tribe was so cheerful, supportive and sweet. When their ‘mission’ matches ours of celebrating and serving the couple, it’s icing on the cake for us on a wedding day! Everyone wins. Of course, I also need to take a moment to thank the stunning Cathedral of Christ the King and the lovely Hilary J. Boone Center. You both take weddings personally and do everything with kindness and love, every time. We also want to thank KY Sounds for taking the joy and fun of a wedding day to the next level, every time.
