Brianne & Chris’s Warrenwood Manor Wedding in Lexington KY
Sweet Bri & Chris are married!! We had been dreaming of this wedding day for months and I’m confident it will be in our dreams for years to come… This is our first 2018 wedding on the blog and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This couple and wedding day are super special to us and represent the heartbeat behind our business – people. Bri & Chris not only trusted us as their photographers, but invited us into their real lives too. Nothing makes us happier! Bri & Chris, we have loved being on this journey with you. You are a gift to us and we love you.
We first met Bri & Chris on a very important day, their proposal. Chris was BEAMING long before Bri arrived. We knew then we would love this couple! When we met Bri that night, after some tears and dancing in the rain (one of our favorite proposals ever!), she won our hearts too. It never ceases to amaze us how, within minutes of meeting a new couple, it’s obvious how “meant for” each other they are. Bri & Chris are the perfect example of this. Their love for each other is deep, accepting and joyful. These lovebirds are absolutely crazy about each other. I think we have Bri’s sister, Aubrey, to thank for this duo. She introduced these cuties! You’re a good sister, Aubrey. 🙂
Between the proposal and the wedding day, our time with Bri & Chris spanned over months of dinners, an engagement shoot, and (almost weekly) wine nights! These two became fast friends to us and it’s no mystery why. Bri & Chris are the kind of people who welcome you into their life like old friends. Like family. We knew we would love their family and friends just as much and couldn’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the big day…
…and here is where I have to say this wedding “speaks for itself”. I’m not sure I have the words! So. Much. Beauty. As we drove away from the wedding that night, a ringing line consumed my thoughts – hearts grew a little bit bigger on this wedding day. Not only did this bride become a wife, she also became a momma to “sweet baby Pey” (Bri’s words) the flower girl. Just wait, you can’t miss Peyton in the photos… One of the first and last words we heard from Peyton that day was “We’re getting married today!”. Typical words from a bride and groom, but from a flower girl? These words have never been sweeter! Every wedding day is the start of a marriage and a family. Sweet baby Pey’s family grew by leaps and bounds that day. When Peyton looks back on this day years from now, it will be a loud reminder of how very loved she is. One lucky girl!
There was beauty in the people of this day and in the details of this day – you could say this was our ideal wedding! The family and friends surrounding Bri & Chris were so kind, supportive and ready to celebrate. We need to give a HUGE shoutout to Bri & Chris’s bridal party…you guys were rockstars!! You put Bri & Chris first, which is all we could ask for. Your toasts were so thoughtful and true. “It takes a village” to pull off a wedding every time, so I’d also like to give a shoutout to a few others… The bride’s momma deserves some praise for her endless hours of care and creativity (florals might be her calling). That wreath! Bri and her momma were the perfect duo to execute the decor vision dreamed of for months. If you didn’t know, the bride’s brothers are actually superheroes. They tackled projects all day long and even stepped into the roll of DJ for the reception! We loved, loved, loved the team effort for this wedding.
There couldn’t have been a better venue for this romantic, intimate wedding than Warrenwood Manor. This venue is all-around lovely and so is their staff. Warrenwood shares our heart for putting people first, which makes any wedding day all the more beautiful. We especially loved being surrounded by snow! Icing on the cake for this venue. Simply magical.
“Here’s to” a lifetime of love, friendship and adventure for these sweet newlyweds, Bri & Chris. Congrats again friends, we love you!! #lovetherenauds #sealedwithachris #ltrbride #ltrwedding
