Lexington Kentucky Wedding Photography – Love The Renauds – Megan & Jacob’s Wedding
Sweet Megan & Jacob are married!! Words can’t express how much we loved this wedding day… Megan, Jacob, and their family, stole our hearts from the moment we met them! They’re the kind of people who feel like family, instantly. When their wedding day finally came, it was just as we envisioned it – a beautiful scene, a gorgeous bride, a smitten groom, a loving family, a fun bridal party, a sweet ceremony, and a joyful reception (basically, a day you never want to end!). We LOVE weddings where the scene is arranged in such a way that guests can visit together for hours. The Ashley Inn is the best scene for this with a spacious covered reception pavilion, a quaint garden patio, and rolling hills for miles. For a wedding day that truly felt more like a family reunion, this venue was absolutely perfect. On this wedding day, we were first greeted by Megan’s dad. In case you didn’t know, a good father of the bride actually turns into superman on a wedding day, tackling any and all details needing attention! This dad made sure his little girl was going to have the beautiful day she always dreamed of. 🙂 Next, we greeted the ladies chatting and laughing away while getting ready. We always look forward to mother-daughter moments when the bride is getting ready – some of the sweetest moments of the day! This was so true for Megan and her mom. Something we often encourage our brides to consider is a First Look with their bridesmaids and it never disappoints! These ladies oooed and awwed with compliments and love for their friend. Next, we hung out with the groom and his guys. It didn’t take long for us to realize how incredible Megan & Jacob’s bridal party was – a group of family and friends SO loving and supportive of the couple. Their reception toasts were some of the best we’ve heard yet! We had such a blast with this crew all day long. Megan & Jacob’s ceremony couldn’t have been sweeter, starting with the groom’s reaction to his bride…I have no words. Months before the wedding, Jacob expressed how he envisioned first seeing Megan on their wedding day – walking down the aisle to him. 🙂 We are so grateful when our couples communicate what they value and envision for their wedding! Jacob & Megan knew the First Look wasn’t for them. These days, about 60% of our couples choose the First Look. We love either option and regularly tell our couples – there are pros and cons to everything! When it comes down to it, the best decision is always to choose what you know deep-down you want. This groom will never forget (and we’ll never forget) his bride walking down the aisle to him. 🙂 Megan & Jacob danced the night away at their reception with all of their family and friends. Nothing makes us happier than seeing grandparents on the dance floor, which was much of the night for this reception! This family took full advantage of their time together and had so much fun – the photos speak for themselves! Megan & Jacob shared a final dance together before exiting in style through a path of sparklers and cheering. We are THRILLED for these newlyweds and wish them a lifetime of love, friendship and adventure for years to come… #lovetherenauds #ltrwedding #ltrbride #MrandMrsSmith
