We cannot say enough about sweet Chrissy & Matt. 🙂 These two are crazy for each other, have such a real friendship, and are so thankful for each other. We had known Chrissy from college years and we reconnected around the time she and Matt got engaged. We were thrilled to “chat wedding” with them! We first met Matt at our wedding photography consult and it was undeniable how made for each other these two are! This again was another consult where we walked away saying, “Let’s be good friends with them!” haha. Such a kind-hearted and genuine couple. When the wedding day rolled around, we were SO excited…we knew this would be a beautiful day in many ways. We arrived to a happy bride finishing up her hair and makeup. Chrissy had her hair done by the talented Twisted Scissor and found her gorgeous wedding dress at Cincinnati Bridal and Formal. I love the sweet sister shots of Chrissy getting into her dress. Our bride was giddy and ready to see her Groom! Matt the same. Chrissy & Matt’s First Look was by far one of our favorites, if not our absolute favorite…the shot of them each wiping away a tear right before they saw each other makes my heart m-e-l-t. They’re so in love. This couple hardly needed any coaching for photos – they were just being cute the whole time! Photographer’s dream. 🙂 Their bridal party was so much fun as well, several we knew from college too. I’ve gotta give a shout out to Chrissy’s bridesmaids. These fabulous ladies helped Chrissy make her stunning DIY wedding come to life! Every piece of decor and detail was made or found by Chrissy and her girls. Just another thing that made Chrissy & Matt’s day so special. The wedding and reception was held at The Cardome Center Black Barn. A perfect scene for this couple! Their wedding ceremony was welcoming, beautiful, thoughtful and creative. Loved those white doors! Chrissy & Matt shared some sweet, meaningful moments during their ceremony. I’m certain that anyone listening to their vows was greatly impacted…you could hear in their voices how much they meant their promises to each other. The new Mr. & Mrs. entered their reception in style! This reception was so cheerful, laid back, beautifully decorated (as I said), and just a great setting for mingling, dancing, etc. This venue has SO many options for both the ceremony and reception and is one of our favorite venues! The way Chrissy & Matt set up their reception worked perfectly – it’s always nice to provide a seating area away from loud reception music for conversations. Theirs was the kind of reception everyone could enjoy! We absolutely adore this couple and wish them the very best in their new life together. Congrats and blessings Chrissy & Matt!!
