Ohio Wedding Photography, Love The Renauds – Kristin & Jeff’s Wedding
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this Christmas week than to reveal Kristin & Jeff’s beautiful winter wedding on the blog…
We first met Kristin as a bridesmaid at her friend Emily’s wedding we shot last year (I suppose we have Emily & Patrick to thank for introducing us to these sweet friends!). We loved hanging out with Kristin that day and little did we know she would reach out to us newly engaged not too long after! We were ecstatic to say the least – we just feel a part of the family when these connections happen. 🙂 We first met Jeff over Skype and knew instantly these two were made for each other. We often Skype to “meet” our couples for the first time. In person, it’s always easy to see the love between a couple. We knew we had won the gold with Kristin & Jeff, because their love was so undeniably clear over Skype. These lovebirds simply adore each other and I have a feeling they will for all of their days.
Kristin & Jeff are the kind of people who make you feel “at home”…they are kind, welcoming, intentional, and down to earth. I know I sound like a broken record when I talk about our clients but seriously, HOW did we get so lucky?! We consider Kristin & Jeff friends because that’s how they treat us and (I’m confident) everyone in their life. Our world needs more of their kind of love. Kristin & Jeff’s wedding day was overflowing with joy as we knew it would be. We loved having a “front row seat” to their celebration! I must give a shoutout to their family and bridal party – what an incredible group of people. It takes a village to host a wedding, every time! Kristin & Jeff’s village of supporters and encouragers (many with some serious talent, I might add) made this day just as it should be for this amazing couple. Many of our weddings feel like a family reunion, including this one. When family, friends, bridal party, vendors etc, gather together with a shared vision to care for the couple and their loved ones, it’s a good day! Kristin & Jeff’s wedding was a very good day.
There are always moments we hold onto from a wedding day. For Kristin & Jeff, we will never forget…family who welcomed all with open arms, a nervous and smitten groom, a thoughtful ceremony, a gorgeous winter princess fairytale bride (okay, all of the good words!), those oh-so lovely and warm furs, cuddly and cheerful newlyweds, rich wedding colors (those florals!), a field trip to Tailspin, a fun and supportive bridal party, a seamless and beautiful reception, a full dance floor (some killer square dancing moves), endearing and humorous toasts…I could go on!
