New Years Eve Wedding – Lexington Wedding Photography – LA & Joel
There is no better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve than a wedding!! LA and Joel’s wedding made us believers of this. New Year’s Eve is all about remembering and celebrating the past, while looking forward to a hopeful future. With the closing of their first chapter and the beginning of their “forever”, LA & Joel did exactly this! On this winter day, we arrived to a cheerful bride ready for her dream wedding, floating around the venue “ooo-ing” and “aww-ing” over the final touches. LA (Lauren Ashley) is one of the most kind, beautiful, charming, and welcoming brides we’ve ever worked with. LA’s bridesmaids were fantastic too. Such a fun, supportive, flexible and loving group! Troopers in cold weather. 🙂 These girls shared some great laughs and tears together that morning getting ready for the big day. Let’s talk about LA’s dress for a moment. We often see lace wedding dresses, but none like this. So unique, romantic and classy. Loved it!! I also cannot say enough about these winter florals. So stunning! (Way to go Carol Lynn Events!) Now, onto the groom. Everyone should have “a Joel” in their life. This guy is so down to earth, genuine, and fun. He and his guys were all laughs all day! Props to the groom…it’s been awhile since we’ve seen a guy THIS excited for the First Look with his girl. 🙂 We all couldn’t wait for this moment! It was more than sweet. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Lots of laughter and joy between these two! It’s always a blessing to us when we see a couple so in love and such good friends. Worth celebrating every time! LA & Joel spent the rest of the day having a blast with their bridal party and each other. Such a fun and laid back day! Before we knew it, it was time to say “I do”. LA & Joel’s ceremony was held at the lovely Maxwell St Presbyterian Church. What a beautiful time…more sweet words, more laughs, more incredible moments. The new Mr. & Mrs. danced into their reception welcomed by the loudest cheer from their family and friends. So much joy in this room! LA & Joel’s reception was held at the UK Boone Center, one of our very favorite places to shoot. LA has great taste to begin with, but we were thrilled to hear of this venue choice! I have to give a shout out to the Boone Center team – you provided amazing support and service for this wedding. Your guests always feel cared for! This venue even showed the NYE Ball Drop at midnight! Clear Pro DJ kept the dance floor going with fun tunes late into the night (Randy, you were professional, classy and fun as always). LA & Joel danced the night away together with their friends and family. What an unforgettable day! It ended with a New Year’s Eve kiss, of course. 🙂 Love these photos of the happy couple!
